Details of the Agreement

The ILUA was registered with the National Native Title Tribunal (NNTT) on 5 August 2014.

Native Title Provisions

Kevin Murphy, Director of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Land Services, Department of Natural Resources and Mines, stated that "the ILUA regulates the Gudjala People's rights and interests within the national parks and addresses a range of issues including the permanent preservation of the areas' natural condition and the protection of cultural resources and values."
