| The Yamatji Marlpa Barna Baba Maaja Aboriginal Corporation were a native title representative body for Traditional Owners of the Pilbara, Murchison and Gascoyne regions in the north of Western Australia. In the Murchison and Gascoyne regions, they are called Yamatji Land and Sea Council. In the Pilbara are, they are known as Pilbara Native Title Service. The Corporation was established in 1994 and covers a representation area of one million square kilometres. In February 2008, the Corporation changed its name to Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation. | ||
