|Roma 'Wattles' Shared Responsibility Agreement (SRA) is an agreement between the Commonwealth Government and Roma Aboriginal Corporation to upgrade sports facilities at the Wattles Footbll Club to diversify and improve amenities for a youth diversion program.|
Shared Responsibility Agreements are agreements between governments and Indigenous communities to provide discretionary funding in return for community obligations. The new arrangements developed from an initiative of the Council of Australian Governments and replace the previous ATSIC system of funding. For more information see 'Shared Responsibility Agreement' below.
The program will provide funding to upgrade a community facility to diversify and improve amenities for a youth diversion program. The program is intended to increase the capacity of families and the community to develop and manage facilities and activities that support youth education and reduce the likelihood of substance abuse and criminal behaviour.
Families and individuals:
Roma Aboriginal Corporation will administer the upgrading of the facilities at Wattles Football Club, organise training and accreditation for supervisors for sports activities and hold an under-16 rugby league carnival.

Roma State College will liaise with Roma Aboriginal Corporation in relation to students' behaviour at sporting activities.
The Department of Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (Cth) will provide funding.
